- Vehicle Condition and Use
The vehicle is the property of the rental company and is delivered in good mechanical and operational condition. The renter confirms that the vehicle, tools, and any additional equipment are in acceptable condition and undertakes to return them in the same condition, at the agreed place and time.
The vehicle must not be used:
- For transporting heavy, flammable, illegal materials or for any illegal or criminal activity.
- To transport more passengers than permitted by the vehicle registration.
- By any person not registered in the rental agreement.
- By drivers under 21 years of age, or holding a driving license issued less than one (1) year prior to the rental start date.
- On unpaved, dirt, or off-road surfaces.
- Outside the island, unless written authorization is provided by the rental company.
The renter is not permitted to repair the vehicle or authorize repairs without the rental company’s approval.
- Road Assistance
Road Assistance is provided free of charge in case of mechanical breakdown not caused by the driver. Issues caused by the driver, including but not limited to flat tires, battery discharge, or misuse, are not covered and must be paid by the renter.
Coverage is limited to the Heraklion area and up to a 60 km radius.
In case Road Assistance is used, the vehicle replacement will take place at the nearest company office (Heraklion or Chania Airport).
Any additional expenses, including taxi fares or accommodation, are not covered.
- Rental Duration and Vehicle Return
The renter must return the vehicle at the agreed date and time. Delays of more than one (1) hour are charged as an additional full rental day.
Any extension must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and is subject to company approval.
- Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as delivered.
If returned with a lower fuel level, a service charge of €30 plus the cost of the missing fuel will apply.
Wrong fuel use is not covered by any insurance, and the renter is fully liable for all resulting damages.
- Accidents, Fines, and Violations
In case of accident, theft, fire, or damage, the renter must immediately notify the police and the rental company and provide all relevant details within 24 hours.
Traffic violations and fines are the full responsibility of the renter. The rental company may provide driver details to authorities when legally required.
- Insurance and Liability
Third-party liability insurance is included in all rentals.
Partial Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) limits the renter’s liability to:
- €1200 for categories A, B, C
- €2000 for all other categories
Vehicle Damage Price List

Full Collision Damage Waiver (FCDW) limits the renter’s financial liability, except for the following:
- Damage to wheels, tires, rims, and the underside of the vehicle.
- Interior damage or stains.
- Damage caused by off-road or unpaved road driving.
- Loss or damage of keys or additional equipment.
Damage to wheels, tires, and the underside of the vehicle is not covered under any circumstances, regardless of whether the vehicle was driven off-road.
Unreported damages discovered upon vehicle return are fully chargeable to the renter.
TOTAL LOSS of the vehicle is not covered by any Insurance CDW or FCDW.
Glass Insurance covers glass damage caused solely by theft or third-party actions. Damage caused by the renter and any consequential damage after glass breakage, including water ingress, are not covered.
- Additional Equipment
Baby seats, boosters, and child safety equipment are provided as a convenience. The renter bears full responsibility for checking, correctly installing, and safely using them.
Loss or damage of any additional equipment is charged in full to the renter.
- Mechanical Damage
Mechanical damage caused by misuse or incorrect operation of the vehicle is not covered by any insurance and must be fully compensated by the renter.
- Theft Protection
Theft Protection reduces but does not eliminate the renter’s financial liability.
The renter must return the vehicle key in case of theft.
Personal belongings are not covered by any insurance.
- Age-Related Insurance Excess
Drivers under 24 years of age and over 75 years of age are subject to an increased insurance excess, regardless of the selected insurance coverage.
- Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled more than seven (7) days before the scheduled pickup date are fully refundable, no questions asked. Reservations cancelled less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled pickup date are charged the full rental amount, unless a different cancellation package has been selected.
- Future Charges Authorization
The renter authorizes the rental company to apply future charges related to cancellations, traffic fines, damages, missing fuel, or any other contractual obligations.
- General Provisions
Vehicles may be equipped with GPS devices for security purposes.
Transport of pets is only permitted using an appropriate travel cage.
The rental company reserves the right to terminate the contract without refund in cases of misuse or violation of these terms.
Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the rental company’s registered location.
